Kumar and Mahela Named Brand Associates of MAS



Colombo, Sri Lanka – MAS Holdings, South Asia’s leading manufacturer of intimate apparel, performance wear and swimwear and the official clothing partner for Sri Lanka Cricket, signed up the legendary cricketing duo Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene as its brand associates. This partnership will see the cricketing icons play an active role in a series of empowerment initiatives with MAS.

Kumar Sangakkara is a former Sri Lanka Cricket Captain and multiple time recipient of the ICC Cricketer of the Year and ODI & Test Cricketer of the Year Award, while Mahela Jayawardene, is a former Wisden Cricketer of the Year and has been regarded as one of the finest cricketers and captains of all time.

In September 2012, MAS announced the renaissance of a victorious partnership with Sri Lanka Cricket as the proud clothing sponsor for the National men’s and women’s teams as well as the under 19
and A Teams, embarking on a quest once again to clothe home-grown champions.
